Carried Away with Hold Tight

It's an exciting day of new releases in the shop and you'll see that I just couldn't stop creating with the Hold Tight kit designed by Brandi Kincaid! Every time we geared up to share a sneak, I found myself inspired to create a project because the illustrations and colors worked so well no matter what I wanted to document.

My first project was made using the Hold Tight stamp set to create a patterned background. I wanted to be able to utilize a few more of the stamps, so I made embellishments with a punched circle and punched tab. Because of the white on white, I inked the edges of the punched shapes to help them stand out.

My everyday notebook has a weekly page where I jot down moments from the week so that I can then freely document any photos without needing to worry about journaling. I thought it was the best way to make sure highlights were noted since I tend to struggle with what to write when I work with my photos.

I actually haven't been taking many photos week to week, but it worked out well to use a journaling card from the kit and stitch a stamped sentiment to it. It was a little pep talk to myself to help work through some disappointing news. On my weekly page, I added stamping and then stitched on the die cuts before adhering them into place.

My newest project with the kit was inspired by Alyssa (@myvisualmark) and I made a layout about the notebooks I'm working in at the moment. I always like to take photos of my projects because it shows how much they change over time, not just in format, but in style. I loved using the "Today/Tomorrow" card for this story!

In addition to the Hold Tight kit, there are several other new items that have hit the shop and I have one last project showing more of the Narrow Alphabet and Outline Narrow Alphabet stamps. I used it above, and I know I'll get a lot more use out the sets.

I hope you'll head over to the shop if you haven't already and check out all of the new arrivals and I thank you for your support, it means so much!
