A Day and a Year In Review
Hello, hello! It's the 15th and that means a new kit is now available in the shop! It's called In Review and was designed to be used all year round, story after story. The lifestyle of memory keeping means that moments big and small are being collected and with this kit, you can document them all.
The stamp set is perfect for journaling and list-making, many of the die cuts offer plenty of space for extra notes, and the cards are a rich mix of colors.
The first project I created using the kit was a simple spread in my everyday Traveler's Notebook and I just love the journaling card with my photo.
I cut the 4x6 card in half and placed it on the lower half the layout and then adhered my photo to the left side and added a couple of the puffy photo corners for dimension. On the right side, I used the ledger stamp and then typed my journaling.
The last touch was using a pattern stamp from the Begin Again set in the same light blue that I stamped the ledger in, and then I added the "photographed:" stamp and date.
I also created a pocket page to add to the end of my 2017 everyday album. I really enjoyed looking back at the thousands of photos I'd taken and selected a variety that really stood out to me. I printed off fun adventures, laughs with loved ones, and delicious treats as 2x2 photos.
I already had the cards pulled that I knew I wanted to use and so it was just a matter of putting the pictures into place. I didn't worry about keeping anything chronological, but I knew I wanted to include the dates.
After the embellishments were added, I focused on my journaling. I simply typed a loose list on the computer and printed it out to fit onto my card. Then, using a roller stamp, I added the date to each line item.
I can't wait to see what you're inspired to create with the In Review kit and hope that it helps get your stories told time and time again!
