My Thankful 30 {2017} Days 22-26

There was a mad dash to get my Thankful 30 album completed before December 1st, and in record time, I was able to get it all wrapped up. I was surprised to find myself feeling inspired and not at all rushed, even though I only had one hour to work on five and half pages.

For the 22nd, I was still on the roll of including some of the patterned papers I'd picked for my kit. I also used a few stickers and added more of the vellum leaves that have been popping up throughout my album, the last one being used below.

I didn't end up having a photo that I wanted to use for the 24th and since I had a couple of photoless pages earlier in my album, decided to bring that concept back. For my background, I used a stencil of leaves in a light beige.

There are times when I do miss making scrapbook layouts larger than 6x8, and so I incorporated a scaled down design that I see many others using on their pages. I folded the corner down and added a little shaped clip and a washi sticker for interest, being careful not to make my page too busy since it's small.

I tend to make a page more plain if it follows a busier or heavier one. So for the 26th, I only added a couple of small embellishments. My photo flips up to reveal another beneath which is always a handy way of including multiple photos.

Like many others, I've begun my December Daily album and will be sharing my setup and first few pages, so I hope you'll be back to visit!
