The year is winding down and I'm so glad that even with how busy this time of year is, I can take time to record our December. Not every story is related to the holiday season, but there is certainly a magical feeling in the air and I love looking back on the month and seeing all the different memories.
It felt like December came out of nowhere and I wasn't ready for it. So, it's not just the fault of the cats that there aren't any holiday decorations up. ;) To build on the theme of decorations, I punched circles from the journaling card and stitched them down. I added a few puffy stickers and thought that the chipboard sentiment was perfect for my photo of the girls.
The 5th and 6th were all about work. I kept the pages simpler due to the short amount of time I had when I made them. I added just a touch of color on each page with a little banner and die cut.
While I was looking for embellishments for the 7th, the "meet me under the mistletoe" die cut jumped out at me as a great way to document dropping the hubs off at the airport for a work trip. And it just so happened I had a mistletoe die cut to pair with it.
The 8th had originally been a photoless page because I forgot to take a picture of my parent's new cat. I remembered to get a photo of her the next time we went and so I decided to clip it to this page. I used a variety of stickers, popping some of them up with foam tape and then wanting a little bit more, I went back and added stamped trees.
If you're interested in the full list of supplies that I'm using to create my album, you can find it in my Days 1-3 post and now the planner pages I designed are available digitally in the shop.
