December Daily {2017} Days 14-18

Here are the last pages that I've gotten done to date. I had so much fun working on getting caught up and am looking forward to getting back to it. I take my album through the end of the month, but hopefully I'll have time to work on it before then.

I've only been sending out holiday cards for a few years and didn't want this year to be the year it stopped. I just added a few chipboard stickers to my page because I wanted to the sentiment on them to stand out.

But for the 15th, I had more fun decorating my page. And since it snowed a little bit that day, I added snowflakes with stamps and a die cut.

I think the only thing that could've made the quick run out more festive would be if we'd seen Santa. It was mad crazy at the Post Office as people shipped off gifts, there were young carolers at the coffee shop, and as we left, there was a horse drawn carriage taking a couple through downtown.

For the 17th, I made a little collection box and printed it out. Washi tape is holding it on the side so that it flips up to reveal my photo underneath. I layered some stickers to embellish my page, once again using foam tape for that extra dimension.

I might have picked up a few little items for myself when I did some Christmas shopping. After I matted my photo to the journaling card, I noticed the bits of yellow and accented them with a yellow puffy heart.

I also had a holiday stamp set that hadn't been used yet, so in my favorite Fog Ink, I stamped and stamped all over the grid section.

If you want to see any of my previous pages, you can always click on the #decemberdaily category from the right-hand column. Thanks so much for taking your time to visit and I hope that you're having a wonderful holiday season!

  1. I really love your beautiful style of documenting and I'm completely amazed at how you've kept up, managed to make and send cards (thanks for mine!) and kept on top of all those kit orders (again, thanks for the quick shipping on mine!). Flight tracker is a lifesaver for me too - when pieces of your heart are in the air, it's reassuring to see them getting closer to home.

  2. This is just so, so good. Clever, inspiring, truly awesome. I'm on day 8, last year was my first December Daily, and I didn't finish til end of Jan, so it doesn't bother me. I know I'll get it done. Anyway, really, really love what you are doing. Merry Christmas!! Love Michelle t
