My Thankful 30 {2017} Days 18-21

It's almost the first of December and I know many people are gearing up to begin documenting December, myself included. Crazy how fast this year has gone! I'll be continuing to share the remainder of my Thankful album and hope to have a full video walk through sooner than later.

My page for the 18th was a lot of fun to put together, especially because of the subject. Most days in my album have been a reflection of an earlier event, but on the 18th, I actually had the luxury of time to work on getting my album caught up.

I used a card from the Many Thanks kit and a couple of scraps to layer under my photo and then used a chipboard shape in the same colors. Needing a little more, I added the star stamping.

I brought back into my album another design I created and printed on transparency paper. I knew I needed to add it at least one more time and randomly selected the 19th to do just that. This time I went with circles, but still used the same colors.

On the page beneath, I used Distress Ink watered down and laid the paper onto it. I also added in the little word stickers just like before. If you're interested in picking up this free printable, you can download it here, it's bundled with the previous one in case you missed it. It's sized oddly, so that it can either be trimmed to A5 (pictured above) or cut to 6x8.

For the 20th, I went back to simple layers and stamping. It was unintentional to have these 3 pages feature the same supplies and colors, but there's enough variety between them that I'm not too bothered by it.

However, I did make sure that the pages after those above incorporated more of the colors I'd previously used and you can see the difference with day 21.

I'll be intermixing posts sharing the final days of my gratitude album and the beginnings of my December Daily, and I hope you'll be back to see them both!

  2. Thank you for the printable! Another creative set of pages full of fun techniques. You are really making me feel like playing with my distress inks. Fun! Maybe next year I'll work on a gratitude project. Right now I'm noting my gratitude in my PL, about once or twice a month, but I really like this idea of a dedicated album. Definitely a meaningful, timely project. Thank you for sharing, and I look forward to a full view. Michelle t
