My Thankful 30 {2017} Days 10-13

I fell so far behind in my album, but was fortunate enough to take Saturday off and spend time getting caught up. Because I worked on so many pages, some were quite simple, but I still had plenty of opportunities to continue to use techniques and elements to maintain continuity.

Some of the best motivation in getting caught up has been seeing the beautiful preparations people are making to gear up for documenting December! I haven't had much time to visit everyone on Instagram, but what I'm seeing is such great inspiration!

But first, I need to focus on November! For the 10th, I made a very simple page with stamping and die cuts to record how much I've been watching Friends. I've just started the series back at the beginning for the second time this year.

The 11th is another simply stamped page of a line from a song that I've had on repeat for the last several months. Music plays an important part in my life and and often it's an older song that I'm new to discover that will really stick with me.

It's no surprise how thankful I am for memory keeping. The creative outlet it provides me and the amazing people I've met this year has been invaluable. It's definitely more than a hobby, it really is a way of life.

I used the stencil in a few random areas on my paper and then pulled some teal embellishments to bring in a contrasting color. Brought back the gold mist droplets and popped the scissors up with foam tape. Love my chunky mini albums!

For the 13th, I'm once again proclaiming my love for coffee. The photo is from late summer when we walked downtown for an afternoon cup. It's hard to read, but their sign says, "I don't need an inspirational quote. I NEED COFFEE."

I had a lot of fun making the stamped background, it's been a little bit since I've done that, and it's not the first time it was with my coffee stamps.

While my pages are a little less involved than some of my earlier ones, I'm hoping that once they're all together, I won't be able to tell when I was short on time in getting them completed. I'll be back in a few days because I have more pages to share, along with a new free printable!

  1. I like the small touches of "mixed media" in otherwise clean designs. I can't wait to see the whole album once it is finished! <3

  2. I love how your album is turning out Elise! All the stamping makes it cohesive but there's some lovely variety in the way you've embellished each page.
