When a Craving Strikes

I know I've just gotten back to regular blogging, and while this isn't paper related, I still feel like it goes along with why my blog was created, to share inspiration and ideas, and in this case a really good recipe.

I've been craving chocolate chip cookies for several days and while we have an excellent bakery nearby, I have yet to find a place to pick up the occasional cookie. So what's a girl to do, but make her own! The recipe is adapted from one that I found from the NY Times many years ago, but a quick search didn't yield the recipe that I started from.

In case you find yourself craving a crispy around the edges, chewy in the center cookie, here's the recipe. Enjoy!

Note: I didn't give my dough time to rest in the fridge which resulted in crispier cookies. So, if you're in a hurry, don't fret if you can't leave the dough for a day, they'll still be plenty tasty. :)

  2. Yummo! I have my ex-mother-in-law's recipe which is way easy & always works. Actually, I crave Marshmallows today & ate 1/2 a pack without a pause. Pigged out....but I figured my body knows what it needs & if sugar is it...then who am I to disagree??!!!!!!!!!!!!
