I take my album through the 31st of the month, telling one story each day with topics such as decorating for the holidays, a simple treat, and our favorite tradition of going out to see the holiday lights. Each day has my journaling, but sometimes it's tucked behind a photo or slipped into an envelope. I varied my page sizes and styles because I've learned that using all pockets or making all layouts doesn't suit my needs. Sometimes I want the structure and ease that the pockets provide to be able to include several photos, and other times I like to make interactive elements that work best without a page protector.
It's funny how realizing one simple thing can make a project come together so quickly. With the freedom to create each page however worked best, I was able to complete my album right after the new year began.
Below are a handful of pages to show the variety that makes up my album. You can view my entire album at your leisure in my gallery here and I've also uploaded a video where I talk a little more about my pages and share how I stored my supplies for easy access.
I worked with a few different kits throughout my album, but I feel that I'm able to maintain consistency in how I use my supplies. Also, no project of mine would be complete without making some of my own papers and elements, so if you see a product used or are curious as to how I created something, feel free to ask in the comments!
