Feeling Festive

I'm not huge on birthdays and celebrations, but I am definitely a fan of Christmas because it means family coming together, keeping up with old traditions, and plenty of merry memory making. So of course I'm excited to be sharing with you all of the wonderful new products hitting the shop today.

Brandi Kincaid has designed the Calm and Bright kit to focus on the little bits of the season, reminding us to slow down. It is packed full of heart and I hope you're excited to use it to document your holiday stories. As an added bonus, you'll be receiving the printable file like with all past kits, but you'll also get digitals of all the patterned paper and journaling cards. Whoo!

The kit is created to blend seamlessly if you're using supplies to create a 6x8 album to document your December, but it can be used for so much more. I'm leaning towards making a homemade Traveler's Notebook insert and so my first project is in that style.

It was hard to cut into the rich blue paper with lovely lighted houses, but I reminded myself that there's now enough to use it in at least one other place. The script card was perfect to help tell my story, as was the string of lights stamp. I colored in the light bulbs with watercolors and then finished it off with some gold mist droplets.

Also hitting the shop are plenty of mini flair to keep you covered from Halloween through the New Year and there is a brand new stamp set, December Memories, that you guessed it, is perfect whether you make layouts, cards, or anything else.

I hope you'll head over to the shop and do some early holiday shopping and be sure to catch up with the Creative Team to see the amazing inspiration using the new Calm and Bright kit!
