Adventure TN III

Well, October is showing no signs of slowing down from the whirlwind that September had us in. I've been trying to balance everything with a little creative time here and there.

This was a page I made right before packing up the last of my non-work items before moving. I had received a lot of well wishes on Instagram and there was many mentions of starting a new chapter. Taking inspiration from that encouragement, I used my favorite book set stamps to create designs to write my journaling around.

My first chance to have some me time after moving, I picked up where I left off with documenting a photo I took right before we left our old house. I almost forgot to snap it, and it's certainly not well composed or lit, but it's important all the same.

Since I didn't have a lot of time or energy, but I wanted to get the story written while it was still fresh in my mind, I kept my pages very simple. Using a triangle stamp, I created a space to anchor my photo and embellishments. Then I stamped my title, wrote my journaling on scratch paper, and added some white ink drops.

Slowly, but surely things are coming together around here and I'm excited to continue documenting our move along with welcoming fall, and gearing up for some fun projects to take me through the end of the year. Hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead!
