And it's time to shop! If you know me, you know I love to eat and so I'm extra excited that Brandi is nourishing our creative side with the delicious kit she has designed called Food for Thought. Along with the kit, in both physical and digital form, are 4 new mini flair sets that I've designed called Meh, Obsessed, Time to Plan, and Let's.
Leading up to this latest kit release, I shared sneak peeks of various parts of the kit in the form of 3x4 cards on Instagram. Before I knew it, I had the makings for a food-filled Project Life spread about some of the meals we enjoyed in July. The small format made it easy to create patterns with the stamps, do a little heat embossing and add watercolor, and just simply enjoy the patterned paper by adding a small photo on top.
I also was inspired to create a layout with one of my favorite papers from the kit. Because I adore the pattern and colors, I wanted to do something special with it. Cutting 1/4" strips, I wove them together and used that to anchor my photos from when we went fruit and veggie picking earlier this month. The great thing about doing something like this is that I still have a 9x12 sheet of paper to use on other projects.
Using one of the labels from the printable sheet, I made paper flags to tuck behind my photos and then I added a mini flair and stamping beneath my photo to finish off my page.
I hope that if you pick up any of the new items in the shop, you'll share your projects with Brandi and me. It means so much to have your support, but the icing on the cake is seeing what you create. Feel free to tag us on Instagram - Brandi, Elise, or Feed Your Craft or send me an email!
