Summer Stories {July 16 - 20}

I'm back today to share days 16 through 20 from my summer notebook. If you've missed any of my previous posts, you can find them all here.

On the 16th we drove out to a farm where we could pick fruits and veggies. Since I had a variety of photos to choose from, I decided to create a small accordion pull out using patterned paper. I used a craft die to cut out the tag and layered it onto more patterned paper and my journaling is on the back of the fold out photos.

The next day I baked a peach galette using some of the white peaches we picked. I created a plaid pattern using stamps and then stamped text onto a card for the facing page.

For my story on the 18th, I documented a series of texts exchanged with a friend. Again I made an accordion fold out to adhere screenshots of our text messages and made a "phone" out of paper. I printed various emoji that we use most often and then used craft dies to cut out the speech bubbles.

Our butterfly bush hasn't slowed down bringing butterflies to our yard and some days stepping outside to visit them is all the break the day allows. My photo is printed on regular copy paper to try and keep the thickness down in my notebook.

The 20th was about work and I thought it would be fun to style my page like a planner and so pulled out my planner stamps and supplies.

I'll be back later this week with more from this notebook. Wishing you a great day!
