Captured

It's an exciting release day! I mean, they all are, but this one is super fun because Harriet has taken over the shop and had stamps and mini flair made of herself, some of her favorite things in the world, and sweet sayings. To top it all off, there is also a special thank you gift that you'll get with the purchase of your Oh, Harriet stamp set.

With the stamp set and mini flair I was inspired to make this page for some Instax photos I'd recently taken. I thought I'd make a layout, but then decided it would be fun to slide the photos just as they are into a pocket page. I used my Tiny Attacher to affix each one in a pocket and then placed Harriet in a chipboard frame. I made some simple filler cards with patterned paper, stamps, and more chipboard embellishments. I love the way the photos are floating in the pockets and could see myself doing this again in the future.

Here's a look at the full stamp set and special thank you gift you'll receive with your purhcase. These stamps were designed by Brandi and myself to be buildable, so you can place items or text on Harriet's shirt or have standing Harriet hold the pennant or balloon. The possibilities are as endless as your imagination!

I inadvertently left off the zero with the numbers and while the numbers aren't the focus of the set, it does make them slightly less functional. Because of that the stamp set has been reduced in price from $16 to $15. There is a workaround if you have to have a zero. If you are good at masking your stamps or have Distress Markers, you can ink the "O" in Monday in order to create things like "2016" or anything else that has the need for a zero.

Also hitting the shop today are 5 new sets of mini flair, one specifically created for celebrating National Scrapbook Day. Don't forget, there are also special savings and you can find those listed at the very top of the shop!

For more inspiration with the Oh, Harriet stamp set, be sure to visit Brandi on her blog and I have no doubt you'll see more from us in the future! Actually, I'm already planning out how I'll be using this stamp set on April's Project Life pages. Happy shopping! :)
