Sending More Happy Mail

Surprisingly, I've been able to keep up with the Write On challenge of sending 30 letter in 30 days. Though I hope no one holds it against me that my cards go out in batches and not daily. So far, 11 cards have been sent and I'm all set to get my next ones out the door.

Here are the last few that I've made. If you saw my Day in the Life mini album, you can imagine that I had plenty of scraps and squares of paper left over. Putting some to use, I made these two cards.

I was inspired by Olga Moss to try using different colored inks on one stamp from a card she recently made here. I don't know why I hadn't thought to try this sooner, and you can see I could use some more practice. And I should have thought it through to stamp the yellow ink then the orange because I transferred some of the orange onto the edge of my yellow pad. All cleaned up, but need to remember lighter to darker next time. :)

Hope you have a great weekend ahead!
