Enjoy the View

I've recently begun working on the photos from our trip to Abu Dhabi that we took this time last year. I had actually made the title page for the trip ages ago and have had the photos printed, but only this month have I started recording those memories. I've made less and less layouts and have found myself struggling with the large size which makes me wonder if I'm going to be phasing them out of my albums. We'll see what happens, but for now my goal is to get the two big trips we took last year scrapbooked.

Along with my photos, I had a kit assembled to work with but pulled in some additional supplies that I've gathered over the past year.

My page came together very quickly until I realized that my title wouldn't fit in the space I wanted to use. I stopped everything and made a mini flair to fix the problem. Another idea I was toying with was stamping my title onto the photo, but that still wrecks my nerves, so stickers and flair were the best solution for me. ;)

I've since completed designing a set of flair all with the word "the" and they'll be in the shop on April 1st along with a couple other sets and a new kit designed by Brandi Kincaid. Yippee! If you haven't seen our sneaks on Instagram, I hope you'll pop over and check them out. Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Supplies:
patterned paper - Felicity Jane
alphabet stickers - Seven Paper
wood veneer, enamel dots, word stickers - Studio Calico
mini flair - Feed Your Craft
tab die cut - Clearly Kelly Scored Tabs Stamp & Cut

  1. Gorgeous photos, Elise! Such a clever way to work out your title. I love the idea of popping a piece of flair in there. Heck, I love the idea of adding your flair to everything. LOL!

  5. The first thing that caught my eye on your layout (besides the gorgeous photography) was the "the" flair in the title.
