Project Life {January 2016}

Last year as I worked on my Project Life spreads, I introduced a lot of white into my pages in the form of white space and white cardstock. Apparently I'm sticking with that trend as I begin 2016.

Something else I realized as I looked back on past projects, it that I rotate through different tools, supplies, and techniques. Currently I'm in the mindset of putting my alphabet stickers to use after a conversation with a friend revealed that we both have plenty of packs that aren't being used due to stamps and dies. So while I've been using my letter stickers, I can only consider this a partial success because there's only one package that I keep going back to. I guess it's something. ;)

To keep my pages from feeling too formal, I varied the position of my photos and also added the triangles of patterned paper. I made labels in Photoshop as a way to caption a few of my photos and then some of my journaling focused on other topics. Realizing my Tiny Attacher has also been neglected, I used it to staple my text blocks.

Do you have supplies you need to put to work?

Supplies:
patterned paper, 3x4 cards, die cuts - Homebodies Kit - Feed Your Craft
3x4 colorful mug card - The Shiny Bits
other - Thickers, Tiny Attacher
font on text blocks and labels - Traveling Typewriter

  2. Oh I DO love your CAS style for PL. Should see mine! A riot of colour and clutter of everything I can think of. Oh well..... & YES! I go through phases and stages with my scrap supplies, as I do with everything in life. It's the nature of the beast - of life, I think:):)

  4. I love this spread so much! The clean and simple look like Lizzy said above is definitely something I strive to accomplish this year... I would like to start stamping on photos more (a la Kelly Purkey) but the fear of failing keeps me from doing it!

  5. I love your pages...they are so clean and organized.
    I also love your way of thinking..."why go out, when you can stay in"....especially with the cold weather we are having.
    As for supplies I need to put to work...the list is long.
