Intentions for 2016

The first of the month is always a special day because it's release day, but oh boy, we're diving right into the New Year with loads of new flair and the introduction of products that will hopefully become a permanent part of the Feed Your Craft shop. And I'll tell you a secret, there are more items coming soon.

Along with the flair that Brandi and I have designed, there is a set of 3x4 journaling cards that I've created using Brandi's awesome illustrations. And for those people that love the idea of flair, but don't care for the bulk they may add, you can now get some of Brandi's designs as a 1-inch die cut. I'm very excited about these new additions and I hope you are as well.

I don't know about you, but sometimes product just speaks to you and you know right away how you want to use it. That's exactly what happened as I worked on the flair for the Plan on It sets. Each of the designs became a prompt and it's what inspired the layout that I made.

Since I don't make resolutions, I thought about some of the things that have been on my mind lately that I want to focus on as this new year unfolds. I typed my journaling in circles that I colored to match the patterned paper and then punched them out. Using some foam tape under the year I cut out and a sprinkling of black ink and I was all done.

Make sure you visit Brandi's blog to see what she has cooked up, I know it will be inspiring, and then head over to the shop. Don't forget, today is the last day you'll be able to pick up the doodle flair that was released in November. Oh, and one last thing, if you purchase the Love It flair, you'll receive a free 3x4 card with that cheeky hippo, Harriet!

Wishing you a wonderful and crafty New Year ahead!

Supplies:
patterned paper - Dear Lizzy {Documentary}
flair - Plan on It Full Color - Feed Your Craft

  4. Hi Elise, I love this layout. And all the pretty things in the shop. I loved last year's OLW flair you designed. I noticed this year they're a little different. Will you put 2016 on one of them if I asked in the notes? I think they're awesome, too. Anyway, never resolutions, always intentions. Thanks for sharing your work, thoughtful, beautiful, inspiring.
