Last weekend I was also able to get caught up on my Project Life pages. While that feeling didn't last because I now need to find time to do November, I was extremely happy to put some pretty paper to use. Since I haven't been making any full-size layouts lately, my stash hasn't been getting any smaller. Thankfully though, I haven't been buying anything either. ;)
For October I used my Felicity Jane kit that came for that month. I loved the colors and patterns, and even though I'm not big on blue, I found myself drawn to it. I challenged myself to use as much from the kit as I could and so my pages turned out a little on the busy side. I went back and added some white cardstock to the back page to try and soften the heaviness from all of the patterned paper and photos.
I hope that everyone's December has gotten off to a wonderful start and I hope to see you back on Monday as I kick off a year-end sale with a project using flair from a new designer! There are 3 new sets arriving, retired flair making a comeback, and a special surprise all happening on December 7th at 8am EST. See you then! :)
Supplies:
That One Day kit - Felicity Jane
font - Trend Rough
alphabet stickers - October Afternoon
I'm loving the label and tiny letter sticker combos you used and the overlapping paper elements (not sure if those came that way or you put them together). :) Of course I'm happy to see the cuddly kitty photo included as well. They are too cute together!
ReplyDeleteI like the blue! Jeana Goodwin, the owner of Felicity Jane, was at the Cameo conference I just attended. She was so nice!
