Little Summer Joy Pt.4

In record time I put together two more pages for my summer mini album. I kept these pages pretty simple but still had some fun with stamping and a few embellishments. I'm working on my photos out of order, but you can take a look at my gallery if you'd like to see it in chronological order and I hope to make a flip through video once it's all complete.

If you follow me on Instagram, you might remember me mentioning that the hubs and I drove 3 hours round trip to purchase a pie so of course it needed a place in my album. We love going on road trips so taking the morning to drive out west is not unusual for us.

A couple of items from my summer manifesto are to read a book and to unplug each day. While it's certainly convenient to have books on an e-reader, there really is such a lovely feeling about being able to curl up with a book.

I haven't been adding any journaling, which is pretty common of the projects I work on, but I wanted a fun way to include some stories so I created these journaling cards. They are 4x4 and each have a different caption. Even better, you can pick up your own set for free HERE via Google Drive, no login needed. It's a PNG file so if you have Photoshop, PSE, or other software like that, you can easily change the color of the cards.

I hope that you have a fun and crafty weekend ahead!

  6. Wow 3 hours for a pie, that must be some pie..and I love the 4x4 journal cards. The 2x3 always seem too small and the 3x5 too large. Looking forward to downloading those, TFS Elise!
