Little Summer Joy Pt. 6

Summer is winding down, though with temperatures in the 90's, you'd think otherwise. Leaves are gathering on the ground and the days are getting noticeably shorter. sigh. In between a weekend of relaxing and eating good food, I was able to finish up my summer mini.

My friend Mandy over at Turquoise Ave. provided the prompt, summer traditions, and since we don't have any big summer traditions, I focused on the little ones. Like driving with the windows down and getting pedicures.

The hubs traveled much of the summer for work and it was a coincidence that we each captured the evening sky.

Annette Haring provided the prompt, hello adventure, and I thought that heading someplace I've been numerous times before can be an adventure as long as you keep your eyes open. I paired my photo with a currently page, which is part of the free printable set I shared here.

Having the hubs home meant that he was able to join me on a walk through the gardens so I snapped this picture to use as a way to say goodbye to summer.

Since I worked on my pages out of order, I made a video flip through, but you can also scroll through just the photos in my gallery and all of the related blog posts can be found here.

The inspiration from Little Paper Projects definitely made this project possible. I wouldn't have thought about making a summer mini, but there were great prompts, beautiful examples of mini albums ranging in size and style, and best of all, it was all free. I'm sure I'll be in for the next memory keeping project from Julie and Jen!

Don't forget, use the coupon SUMMERJOY in my shop to take 20% off your merchandise order through August 31. Pick up some summer themed mini flair or grab Brandi's doodle flair before they're retired on September 1.

I love all of your pages and that you adhered the sequins so they wouldn't all fall to the bottom, great idea!
