Soft Kitty Mini Book

I'm going to try and keep this short as it's a rather photo heavy post. Over a year ago I had assembled all my supplies and photos to make a mini album of our Pound Cake. I had been all ready to work on it but then other projects kept pushing it to the back burner and it sat for months with only a couple pages completed.

In early June I realized I really should finish this project because I'd also like to make one for Biscuit. I think I hadn't really been feeling the size of my album and that was another reason I found myself in no rush to work on it. I carefully took apart the pages I'd made and trimmed everything from 6x6 to 5x5. Once that was done, I was so much happier and was able to complete my mini in an afternoon.

You might recognize the titles to each page if you're a fan of The Big Bang Theory. ;) The supplies I used were primarily Simple Stories {SN@P! Cat}, an old My Mind's Eye 6x6 paper pad, and various Thickers alphabet stickers.

What about you, do you have any unfinished projects in your crafty space?

  3. Beautiful. Love it. I have plans to make a layout of our first dog who passed 10 yrs ago, but I think I want to do a mini album. I certainly have enough pics. Anyway, it's beautiful and I love it. And I agree the shaker page is awesome. Michelle t

  9. I totally recognized the song lyrics, teehee.
    Such a cute mini book.
Funny how everything came together by just changing the size of the book.
I have quite a few unfinished projects on my desk…I'm in wedding mode, so until after August 14th, I probably won't be getting too much of my projects done.
