Project Life {February 2015}

For this month I wanted to try out printing my photos to have the look of a Polaroid picture. Since I (now) always print my photos for Project Life with a white border, it was easy enough to leave a large white border along the bottom.

Using Photoshop Elements, I created a 4x6 canvas and placed two 2-1/2 inch pictures towards the top of my canvas, leaving roughly the same amount of white space above and on the sides. Once printed I cut the 4x6 in half and had my two Polaroid style photos.

I kept my pages simple which was probably best with the bold colors of February's kits from Studio Calico. I'm still using plenty of labels on my projects and also made a point to use washi tape and alphabets. I seem to have an abundance of them and so I'm working to get them out of the packs and onto pages.

My journaling is on the back of some of the cards and I'm really happy about how quickly these pages came together. Hope you have a great rest of your week! :)

  1. Such a fun color scheme, Elise! I'm loving the layered labels and the Polaroid-style photos. I see your sweet kitty got into the action quite a bit on these pages. :)

  5. Your pages looks so great! Thank you for the PSE tips. I'm going to try that. I also have a ton of labels and washi and should make more of a point to use them up!
