A Big Month

Wow, it's March already, but that's okay because I've got exciting news from the Feed Your Craft shop. Today I'm happy to share a big shop update that launches 14 new sets of flair in themes like springtime, coffee and tea, weather, work, and much more. There are also a few kit items I won't use but want to see go to a good home.

I have a coupon that's good now through Friday, March 6th for 20% off your merchandise total. Use the code LUCKY2015 at checkout to claim your discount. If you're feeling especially lucky, you'll want to head over to my Instagram and enter to win your choice of 4 packs of flair, but hurry, the contest is only open until noon EST tomorrow.

Since I was still feeling inspired by the lessons from On The Grid, I went back through them and used some of the techniques that were discussed over the course of the month to create this layout.

Using a mixture of embellishment clusters and photos, I created my gird in the horizontal center of the page. I always lay everything out first, moving it around until I'm happy, and then adhere it all into place. If there are a large number of layers and elements, I'll snap a picture so that I can put it all back the same way.

I used several flower die cuts and some paper from Maggie Holmes {Open Book}, white doilies, and black mist. From my shop I used the small white shipping tags and the new Tiny Hearts mini flair.

I still have another surprise for you this month, so I hope to see you back. In the meantime, happy shopping! :)

  2. Wow Elise, loving your grid so much. Kinda reminds me of Emma's but in a good way. Since Emma does 6x8 which we all know is way easier the 12x12 :p congratulations on your new flairs too. They look fantastic.
