First up is a layout that I made a little bit ago. You can see it's another project where I wanted to include hand stitching. :) Some simple embellishing and a bigger focus on journaling than usual completed my page.
On top of the Issue that run every two weeks over at Paper Issues, there are now challenges involving sketches and cut files. Most of you know that I love a sketch and was happy to put the newest one to use. I made minor changes, opting for triangles instead of circles and I moved my photos over since I didn't need to include any journaling.
I had bought some embossing paste for my Christmas cards and loved adding it to this layout. I used a stencil from on of the Heidi Swapp Mini Stencils kit and randomly placed it running down the left side of my paper. Some mist droplets, paper and sequins to match the facing page and I was all done. Love how quick and easy this came together!
To go along with the coupon code over at Paper Issues, I have a shop update. Two new flair sets as well as brand new items that I won't use but don't want them to sit unloved. Maybe there are some items that you can open your creative home to!
what great pages!!!! love how you added the flair as part of your title on the first layout
ReplyDeleteThese are amazing, Elise! Loving the combo of the flair, washi, and stitching on the first page and great use of triangles on the second.
ReplyDeleteGreat pages!
ReplyDeleteI totally linked up for this issue especially because you our the sponsor and I had a page that fit the theme.
I think I am going to get out of my scrap slump and try to make a new page for this issue, too!
How great to partner up with you and your Etsy shop for this issue. The winner is in for a real treat :)
ReplyDeleteBoth of your layouts are lovely.
ReplyDeleteI like that you added embossing paste to the last one, how fun :)
As always…love your flair!!
Love both layouts Elise, especially like how you used the stickers for the title on the Cascade photos and the bits you added to the first one. Very nice of you to sponsor too!
ReplyDeleteOooh the flair sets are fab. Loving the stitching too x
ReplyDeleteLove how you made the title on this page! I bought a stitching template the other day... it has some words on it and I can't wait to use it!
