For my October pages, I kept the embellishments to a minimum, but did manage to use plenty of the puffy stickers from Studio Calico's October PL kit. I liked the diamond shape so much, I used a photo from one of our outings to make my title card in Photoshop Elements.
For the back I made a couple of cards with paper from the Studio Calico card kit and also put to use one of the new flair from my Etsy shop. I think the addition of what I'm reading will be a constant to my monthly pages and the journaling card I used this time came from a set designed by Sahlin Studio.
Unexpectedly my sister came out for a visit and we were able to pack a whole bunch of fun into the time she was here. I have a stack of photos I'll be scrapbooking, but prefer to get my journaling done in the pocket pages. I love the cityscape card I made with a stamp from the Aloha set.
I had picked up an extra set of cards with my SC kits and it set the black and white tone. I used more cards designed by Sahlin Studio to help document what was going on. Since my sister and I had some crafty time, I needed a "making" card and whipped one up in PSE to coordinate.
One last thing before you go. Jennifer of Jennifer Grace Creates is hosting another one of her fantastic blog events, Frosty Festivities, this weekend. The event kicks off this Friday at 4pm GMT and she'll have projects and inspiration of all manners as well as challenges and giveaways. I'm happy to be sponsoring a giveaway and will be participating in the challenges as much as I can. Hope to see you there!
