PL & CY365 {September 2014}

Beyond going on our road trip in September, it was a pretty quiet month for us and I didn't take that many photos. Mixing up the style of pocket pages really helps when I don't have a lot to record. Of course after that fact, I remembered a couple of little things I wanted to include, but that's ok.

Unlike August's kit, I loved most of September's PL kit from Studio Calico. I'm not a big fan of real photos used on supplies, but otherwise the kit was a winner and I'm excited to use October's as well.

For the front page I broke out my tiny attacher, which I don't use often enough. I'm also out of the habit of printing on journaling cards and got my original card jammed in my printer. It all worked out in the end and I like the back up card I had to use.

Lots of journaling on the back page and a color palette I wouldn't have normally picked out. I'm also surprised to find that I'm enjoying using rub-ons and have even bought a couple more packs.

Again I didn't include my photo a day pages and as of October 13th, I've taken a photo a day for the last 365 days. I'm going to finish out 2014 but I'm not sure what next year has in store. It's been a great challenge and I've learned so much. I'll leave you with a favorite from September and wishes for a fab day!

  1. So much to love on these pages, Elise! First off, the sunset photo is spectacular! I also love how you used the tiny attacher to layer up the sequins.
