Pause in 2014 {November}

It's rapidly approaching time for me to create this year's holiday cards and while I was looking into a stamp and die set, I came across this post for the Caring Hearts Card Drive and immediately knew it should be my November project for focusing on my word.

While my own grandmother lived in a nursing home, she was fortunate to have plenty of family visiting her and her room was filled with photos and cards. Sadly that's not always the case and so I was more than happy to participate.

Each card I made was different as was the message I wrote inside. I used plenty of dies, punches, and stamps, and this card was one of my favorites. If you have a chance, take a look at the link above and help them surpass the 3600 cards they collected last year. Hope you have a great weekend!

  1. Lovely card, Elise! Mom and I participated in this last year and had a great time making the cards. We are hoping to be able to do it this year too... just need to nail down a date we can get together!

  2. Your card is lovely.
    Thank you so much for sharing this and the link. I see there is a place for us Canadians to send them too as well :)

  3. Such a beautiful card, Elise! I love the layered flower and for such a wonderful cause too! :)

Thank you so much for taking your time to comment, I truly appreciate all your kind words!
