30 Days of Me {Wrap-Up}

Wow, I sure was in a creative funk and hope that I have snapped out of it! I spent time the last two days wrapping up this mini album. I am certainly not averse to taking on a project like this again, but I have learned some things along the way to hopefully make it more enjoyable.

I feel like a month is too long to focus on myself, especially when some of the prompts are similar. I would change the order around, something I should have done this time, and possibly use a larger format. While the WRMK Instagram album is super cute, for me it would be better suited for projects that have little to no journaling, just a focus on photos. I definitely didn't take as much from the class as I had hoped, and for the price, that was disappointing. That being said, I'm glad I tried something different and am really happy this little album is complete!

I'm sharing some of my favorite pages today, but if you'd like to view the entire album, you can find it here.

For day 15, I used the Simon Says Stamp {To Thine Own Shelf} set and stamped the books onto an actual book page. For day 16 and many others, I was happy to use embellishments that have been sitting around.

I knew I wanted hidden journaling for day 17 so I made a little folder and wrote my thoughts inside. The flaps wouldn't stay closed, but a little butterfly clip did the trick. The layers of labels for day 18 turned out exactly as I'd hoped and I'm still getting tons of mileage out of that massive Pebbles alphabet roller stamp.

For day 22 I came up with a quote that best sums up what I constantly work towards. Day 23 was about music and the circle stamps being reminiscent of records were perfect as an embellishment.

Hopefully my mojo is here to stay and I'll have some more crafty goodness to share soon. Have a great day! :)

    I love the little tiny album.
    I have been thinking about picking up a few of those :)
    And I think a month would be a little too long for me as well.

  7. Love it, love it, LOOOVE IT.

    My mojo left me for two months, I almost didn't know what to do with myself when it came back recently. Hate that feeling!
