#digital footprint

I had hoped to share this earlier in the week, but time just didn't allow for it. :) The current challenge over at the forum has a fun image and color scheme to get you inspired and you still have until the 22nd to add your creation.

I was inspired by the social media theme of the image as well as the arrows and decided to scrapbook about my digital footprint. I took screen shots of my homepages on various sites and then printed them as 3x4 photos.

I don't know about you, but I keep multiple tabs open and use two different browsers on my laptop, one for work and one for play. In keeping with that idea, I punched tabs out of the pink paper with my envelope punch board. I can see myself making many more tabbed dividers in the future and if you want to as well, WRMK posted a quick tutorial here.

I've been mixing and matching my paper brands lately and pulled together Studio Calico, Basic Grey {Grand Bazaar}, and Crate Paper {The Open Road} for this page. I hadn't used any shaped clips in a looong time and so was happy to get a couple onto my layout. I tried to work in some washi, but it was a no go. I again used the Jenni Bowlin Studio gold star rub ons, a little mist for droplets, Elle's Studio wood grain alphas, and some wood veneer stars. Lastly, the page design came from another recent sketch by Shimelle and you can find that here.

I think it will be interesting to look back on this and see a snapshot of some of the places where I made my mark on the internet. You can find me in other places as well, but just don't go looking for me on facebook. ;)

  2. Wow! This is an amazing page, Elise. Love the tabbed dividers as photo mats and the overall design is perfect. Would love to see you link this up to Mix Tape at Paper Issues (includes using a mix of manufacturers). :) http://paperissues.blogspot.com/2014/08/new-issue-mix-tape-with-hazel-ruby.html
