Mini Holiday Pt. 2

Moving on through our little trip to Charleston, SC, today I have the pages from when we visited Sullivan's Island. We made a quick stop to the beach and saw their unusual lighthouse and then spent some time walking in and around Ft. Moultrie.

For the two 12"x12" layouts, I used sketches from Kelly Purkey's Sketchbook class. I loved the amount of material that came from the class and if Studio Calico offers a third class, I'll definitely be signing up.

I have been trying to take portrait orientated photos and this divided page protector is perfect for when I do remember. I'm not sure if you can relate, but I tend to only hold my camera in landscape and my phone in portrait. Not sure why, but I seem to forget that I can turn it 90ยบ. :)

I'll be back next week with the final installment of pages. Have a great weekend!

  3. I am so with you on the photo and camera angles I now make it a point to turn the other angle, not as much as I like but getting better. Love the photos and your Explore card with the flair!

  4. I'm guilty of only holding my phone in portrait mode too. I rarely remember to hold it sideways!

It definitely is hard to remember to turn my cameras to get different angles, but I have been trying!

  6. Awesome collection of pages, Elise! I always take portrait-oriented photos and have to remind myself to turn the camera to take landscape. LOL!
