Scrapbooking about Scrapbooking

I hadn't ever done a layout about scrapbooking, and more specifically, the products that I love. I wanted to participate in the current Stashbusters challenge from the Two Peas in a Bucket forum, but didn't have anything really calling to me, so snapped some pictures and got to work.

I used the prompt to have at least 3 circles on my page, but for the overall design, it just kind of came to me. I liked the photo arrangement from the last layout I shared (here) and so used it again. Once I selected my papers, I knew the background paper would be perfect for cutting into triangles, so gutted it before adhering the white cardstock.

I purposefully didn't use any of the supplies I'd photographed because I wanted to also include other favorites, like mists, enamel dots, and sewing. And of course, papers from a couple of my favorite brands, My Mind's Eye and Basic Grey.

I used some of the same papers that were still on my desk from the other day, which are from the August and October Studio Calico kits, plus a couple others I picked out from those kits. Navy Color Shine by Heidi Swapp, Hero Arts Stepping Stone alphabet stamps, Amy Tangerine {Cut & Paste} alphas, and MME enamel dots provided finishing touches.

Have you ever scrapped about this or any other hobby of yours?

    I adore that triangle paper!
I did do a page about my love for Thickers a few years back.
And then when I took a design class by Cathy Zielske at Big Picture, we had to make a page about why we scrapbook. That is it I think though.
