Documenting December {Day 25 - Day 31}

Well December has ended, and I'm happy to have this project complete so that 2014 begins with a fresh slate. I definitely would have struggled to complete this album if my foundation pages hadn't already been prepared. I'm also glad that I put together my own kit, it was cheaper in the long run, and I have very little leftovers.

On Christmas morning, the hubs and I made cheese blintzes with blueberry-lime sauce, and then we gave Pound Cake her new toys. We had dinner at my parent's, but didn't do our family Christmas until Saturday. Five of us piled into the car on the 26th and went to a botanic garden to walk through the light displays they set up. My parents really enjoyed it and I hope we can find another one next year.

Day 27 was spent waiting for UPS to deliver a package. So much for no gifts. :P We did our family dinner for Christmas on the 28th.

The 29th was family day and we ate carnitas and tamalito that I made as we watched our team lose again. My sister and I got a little silly and passed some time taking way too many selfies. The 30th was the first time she and I got to spend time together, just the two of us.

Day 31, well Happy New Year of course! :) The awesome inspiration for stringing the sequins came from HERE.

    I love that you and your sister enjoyed your time together…I had to chuckle at your photos of the two of you as it looks like you had put those bald caps on, teehee. I know you blanked out the photos though ;)
    I keep meaning to pre-make my pages for my DD, but never have. I also use all my own supples as well.
