I've never been that big a fan of pudding, but I also had never made pudding from scratch before 2011. The difference is staggering, honest to goodness!
This is a rather labor intensive recipe, but if you see it through, you will be blown away by the rich, creamy, just enough of a tang, melt in your mouth pudding. Drooling yet? Here's pictures of the process and below that, the full recipe and instructions.
First you make some ooey gooey caramel.
And then you make the pudding.
If butterscotch isn't your thing, I've also made chocolate pudding before which is much simpler and again, nothing like what you buy from the store!
