Be Bigger Than Your Fears

Life.Paper.Scrapbook Issue 3 came out yesterday and it is a stunner! If you're not familiar with the publication, it is a quarterly online magazine being curated by a team of one. Manda has knocked it out of the park with this most recent edition, and I was fortunate enough to have one of my layouts included among so many talented ladies!

A few different challenges led to the creation of this layout. I used the October sketch challenge from Life.Paper.Scrapbook for my design. The inspiration for the photo I used came from the current theme, "All About Me" over at Two Peas in a Bucket, where I'm still playing along with the Stash Busters.

While I was working on this layout, I had no idea that my October OHDEERME kit was sitting in our mailbox. I made some adjustments to my design because I had to incorporate some of the newly arrived goodies! All of thhe paper items and letter stickers are from the Glitz Design {Finnley} collection except for a scrap of Fancy Pants {What a Wonderful Day} Swell paper, the washi tape is from My Mind's Eye, and everything else is from OHDEERME kits.

The reason I look rather somber in (my first ever) selfie is because I was going to talk about fears. I was going to use the 3 places on the sketch as areas to journal 3 different fears. I printed my photo on vellum, but once I selected my supplies, I realized my layout was going in another direction.

I'll still share those 3 fears with you in no particular order, heights, death, and the dark.
