Scrapbook with a Sketch

This layout was done in under an hour, which is probably the fastest I've ever put together a layout. I usually have to mull over at least a couple of decisions before I'm ready to commit. I also will assemble (without adhesive) the majority of the layout and then affix all of the elements once I'm happy.

The sketch I used comes from the My Mind's Eye blog and is their second challenge for September. I used items from their new Cut & Paste line as well as a couple of their grey decorative tapes. Just as I did for my last challenge entry, I used an old, old My Mind's Eye overlay. I've also used a couple in my divided pages and it's so funny to see them making a comeback as Project Life continues it's popularity.

The sketch worked perfectly for what has become the title page to a series of layouts I'll be working on from some everyday adventures we had in August. I'll be journaling on those layouts, so didn't need to add any to this one.

If you have a chance, make a layout or a card and link it to the challenge, you have until the end of the day on Monday!
