Project Life {July}

The album I had been adding to this year is full and so it was convenient that July began a new one. There wasn't a whole lot happening in July, just trying to make the most of my sister's visit and celebrating our parent's 50th anniversary.

I am still learning how to balance my pages with embellishment and color so they are cohesive, but still my style. I think it's harder when it's something you only have a chance to do once a month. Thank goodness there is a lot of great inspiration out there!

As much as others love working with just one size of divided page, I love the variety packs. Sure, I could use all the same size and just add filler cards, but mixing it up is fun, too! My journaling is split between handwriting and printing from the computer. It all depends on how much I need to get down.

Now I just need to send my August photos off to be printed so I can get cracking on those. I bought the Maggie Holmes and Amy Tangerine mini kits and love them more than I thought I would and am super excited to put them to use!

  1. These look great! I love how you include a calendar page to go along with the divided one.

  2. love how you added a calendar page- what a fab idea!!

  3. Love the calendar page idea. Also like the vertical title down running off the arrow.

  4. Great mix of pages!
    I love the variety packs, too!

  5. I love the variety packs too. I added calendars to my 2010 PL album. I handmade them with my cricut...I don't know what I was thinking! LOL>

Thank you so much for taking your time to comment, I truly appreciate all your kind words!
